Front Coil-Over
Conversion Kit
Take
it to the Next Level
The TCP front coil-over conversion is a
fully adjustable suspension system that utilizes the key factory
mounting locations. With only a common drill, minor modifications to
the upper control-arm pivot position and upper coil-spring seat
dramatically improve vehicle handling. Our all-new TrueCenter pivot
sockets and tubular suspension components provide extremely precise
control over the spindle travel arch with linear resistance making
suspension tuning changes effective and predictable. Suspension geometry
improvements include: lower center of gravity, higher roll center,
reduced vehicle roll rate, quicker negative camber gain, increased
compression travel, reduced rebound travel to limit body roll, more
desirable shock motion ratio, and correct axis and length of lower arm
assembly when utilizing factory mounting positions. Although pictured,
these kits do not include the spindles.

Front Coil-Spring
Conversion Kit
The TCP front coil-spring
suspension is a fully adjustable suspension system that
utilizes the key factory mounting locations to greatly
simplify installation. Our all-new, exclusive TrueCenter
pivot sockets and tubular suspension components provide
extremely precise control over the spindle’s travel arch
with linear resistance. Suspension-geometry improvements
include: lower center of gravity, higher roll center,
reduced vehicle roll rate, quicker negative-camber gain,
increased compression travel, reduced rebound travel to
limit body roll, and correct axis and length of lower arm
assembly when utilizing factory mounting positions. A brand
new, Total Control exclusive, billet-aluminum, offset-pivotshaft
option, enables precise relocation of the upper-control-arm
pivot axis, for improved camber gain geometry without the
need to drill holes, or risk of error.
VariSpring VR Series -
Progressive Rate Coil Springs
Total Control’s new VR series of progressive rate coil
springs offers you the best way to get the ride and handling
you want for your classic Mustang. The unique design
advantages of progressive springs provides a stock like, but
firm ride during normal driving. As your vehicle is driven
harder, the suspension will travel into the higher-rate
range of the spring, providing increased stiffness and
handling performance improvement. Made from high strength
alloy steel and wound on a specialized CNC spring coiler, VR
springs are the best you can buy. Silver-powder-coat finish
for a lasting appearance.
VariShock Bolt-Ins,
Adjustable Shocks
To take full advantage of the factory mounting position, a
complete custom shock absorber was developed by VariShock.
Installed height, travel, valving range and mounting
configuration are built to our exact specifications, whereas
other manufactures are forced to compromise with
“off-the-shelf” products. Quickset 1 single-adjustable shock
is standard, offering 16 settings at which both bump and
rebound are adjusted simultaneously. This offers a good
compromise between the ultimate tuneability of the QuickSet
2 and affordability of the QuickSet 1. Optionally available
is our double-adjustable QuickSet 2, which allows individual
control of vehicle separation (rebound) and settling (bump)
independent of each other. This gives the ability to tune
your suspension for desired ride quality or specific track
conditions for ultimate performance. System uses OEM or TCP
spindle (TCP SPND-01).
Parts included: Front Coil-Spring
Suspension: upper arms, lower arms, strut rods, shock
mounts, single-adjustable shocks, progressive-rate springs,
and mounting hardware

Front ShockWave® Conversion Kit
The ShockWave® suspension system is a
bolt-in, combination air spring and shock absorber that
directly replaces the OEM coil springs and shocks.
ShockWave® systems are available with single- or
double-adjustable valving and provide complete control
over ride quality, handling performance and ride height.
The ShockWave® patented design makes it the only fully
adjustable, direct bolt-in air suspension for 1964-1970
Mustangs. System uses OEM or TCP spindle (TCP SPND-01).
ShockWave®
Given the available space and factory mounting
positions, our sister company, VariShock, along with Air
Ride Technologies, set out to find the best product
solution possible. The end result was a newly designed,
combination air spring and shock absorber enabling
complete ride control as well as adjustable ground
clearance. When fully deflated, the vehicle rests 5-6”
below stock ride height and can be raised to driving
height at the push of a button. A RidePro™ compressor
system is required for operation.
Single-Adjustable
(SA) or Double-Adjustable (DA)
The patented ShockWave® air spring is available in
QuickSet 1, single-adjustable (SA) or QuickSet 2,
double-adjustable (DA) versions. ShockWave® SA features
a 16-position, positive-click knob that adjusts overall
resistance of the shock in both compression and rebound.
ShockWave® DA features two, independent 16-position
knobs enabling up to 256 different combinations of
instant adjustment. One knob sets the bump (compression)
range; the other sets rebound (extension). Each knob is
laser-etched with directional arrows and “plus/minus”
symbols that clearly indicate which direction achieves
the desired adjustment. Additional arrows etched into
the ShockWave® DA base reveal which knob sets bump, and
which sets rebound. All adjustments are made in seconds,
without removing or unbolting the ShockWave.
Parts Included: upper arms, lower
arms, strut rods, ShockWave® mounts, single-adjustable
ShockWaves®, and mounting hardware (compressor system
sold separately)
