Do you have a high compression motor? Need more room for headers while decreasing the potential for hot starts. Kick that motor over with authority. These WPS high torque mini starters are top of the line. They feature a 1.7kw motor with a 1yr manufacturer's warranty.  4ga minimum wire required! Early cars with the solenoid on the fender apron may have to run a small jumper on the starter from the small terminal connector on the attached solenoid, to the main starter wire coming from the fender solenoid. Use 10ga min. We are not responsible for incorrectly ordered starters. The burden of correctness lies with the customer. While the product can be exchanged if necessary, we are not responsible for choosing the correct starter for your application. While the year/model designations below are a good rule of thumb for OE cars. Many changes can occur over the life of these cars so do not assume the applications represented are exactly what's in your car. Measure and be sure!
The bolt patterns of the two starters below are the same. The difference is in the nose. The short nose measure approx 1 3/4" from the base. The long nose measures approx 2 1/16" from the base.

This may seem like a small variance but the two are not interchangeable!
